Pigging valve

LIAG Pigging Valve

LAUFER pigging valves have been designed according to hygienic design guidelines to meet the high demands of process engineering applications. They build upon the same design principle as free flow arc valves. By virtue of this principle no products remain in the valves during operation. The prime use of LAUFER pigging valves is with sterile pigging systems as they can be disassembled easily and quickly even when welded in place, and additionally, offer high CIP capability.

The MH shutter valve is suitable in applications with large partials, high viscous or strict requirements minimizing pressure loss. The valve consists of a rigid body with an internal cylindrical bore and 2 or 3 ports for pipe connection. The two lids have guide rings for an internal shaft which supports and positions the shutter. A stainless steel handle or an actuator is fitted to turn the shaft. Both the actuated and the manual can be fitted with laterally indication units. The air actuated valve can be fitted with ThinkTop®. The actuator comes in two versions, single or double acting.
